Beginning 2021, and each year thereafter, L&I is required to make a cost-of-living adjustment to the minimum wage based on the CPI-W.

Due to Washington State initiative 1433 we will need to increase our parking rates beginning January 1st 2020. Initiative 1433 took effect January 1st, 2016. We have not had a rate increase in over 5 years and have kept the same parking rate despite three prior increases to the minimum wage. Unfortunately it is no longer possible to maintain the old rates due to the most recent $1.50 per hour increase. The new parking rates are effective January 1st, 2020.

On January 1st, 2020 the Airport Access Fee will be $1.75 per trip ($3.50 for a round trip). To offset some of this cost we charge our customers a one time trip fee of $2.50 and absorb the rest of the fee.  The airport Access Fee is a one time fee that is added to the total cost of each ticket.
